How to Play

Select one player as 'It'. He chases the other players who are safe only when touching wood. A player may not touch wood for safety more than three times, however, and thereafter must run to escape. A tagged player becomes 'It'. Variations include Tree Tag, Iron Tag, Grass Tag, Leaf Tag, Stone Tag, Fence Tag.
