Arrange the relay teams in files behind the starting line facing the turning line. Each team is provided with a wand. Each team must consist of an even number of players and they are paired off. The first pair place their wand between their legs assuming the riding position one behind the other. On signal they ride the wand around the turning point and reaching back to the starting line, pass on the wand to the next pair to ride.
