How to Play

A goal line is marked at one end of the playing area. One player is selected as the fox, on signal the fox moves forward slowly from the goal line, while other players follow him and ask, 'what is the time Mr. fox?' If the fox replies any hour except midnight, they are safe and they can follow him. When he replies, Twelve O'Clock at midnight, the players must run back to the goal line and the fox tries to tag them. The first one who is tagged becomes the next fox.
